AmeriCorps National Direct Grant
Secured funding to operate conservation and disaster response service corps programming in Texas and Louisiana. AmeriCorps members serving under this grant improved trails/waterways and habitat, increasing accessibility and usage of public land, enhancing the visitor experience and improving ecosystem health, as well as provided assistance to communities impacted by natural disasters.

AmeriCorps Planning Grant
Secured funding for safety risk management planning, increasing long-term organizational sustainability in response to the challenges of operating youth workforce development programs under COVID-19 conditions.

History Colorado Preservation Programs, State Historical Fund
Secured funding to develop a facility master plan for the adaptive reuse of an historic structure built in 1900 in Chaffee County, Colorado.

Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO)
Inspire Initiative
Facilitated the San Luis Valley Great Outdoors Coalition, a regional multi-stakeholder initiative that secured funding to reduce barriers for youth and families to access outdoor spaces and experiences. Saguache, Crestone, Del Norte, Alamosa, and Antonito were selected as initial community hubs that would host facilitated youth and family engagement activities during the planning period to identify appropriate ways to enhance in-town critical recreation infrastructure.
